Discover all this beautiful region has to offer...

La Maisonnée Girondine is comfortably located in the beautiful little town of Saint Magne de Castillon which provides glorious views of the Castillon vineyards from every angle and is a stone’s throw away from the site in which the Battle of Castillon was fought in 1453. A re-enactment of this battle takes place every summer and, from personal experience, is a great family experience enjoyed by all who attend. We have chosen the location of our Chambre d’Hôtes in the Gironde very carefully with its close proximity to Saint Émilion being of high priority to us and our guests. A mere 9.4km or 12 minute drive away from the town centre, La Maisonnéee Girondine offers an ideal solution to all who wish to discover this wonderful place renowned for history and architecture along with fabulous wines and gastronomy. The cobbled streets are home to a plethora of boutiques selling fine wines, oenological souvenirs, macaroons, foie gras and various other delicacies particular to South West France. Bustling restaurants can be found around every corner serving up some of the region’s finest cuisine under the gaze of the beautifully illuminated monolithic church.
